Bad Bad Logo Choice #2
Last month I posted a logo for a japanese pharmacy that had some questionable design. This time I found a logo for a german port-a-potty company. Either these people don’t speak english or they like to be very literal. I found this logo via Werbeblogger

I spent time in Holland and they use think that “ass” is just how refer to that part of the body in English… they don’t consider it a “bad word”… its a probably just a matter of not being able to translte slang words and their context very well.

Well I went to the website in question and the A S S is simply the name of the company, Allgemeiner System-Service. The porta-potty is just one of a range of products they offer. On the mobile kitches the logo isn’t much, but on a portable toilet it does take on a humorous bent. But only to cultures where the word ass means the rear end.
