    Afinity Pet Care

Affinity Petcare likes to communicate with its consumers on their own level - even if they are dogs! In this operation, the product was hidden behind the poster and its smell wafted through small holes above the dogs bowl, so that passing hounds reacted to the billboard by sniffing at the picture of the dog food.

This is a really great idea, and something that i haven’t seen before.

Good, it’s a way to take care of pets. Can I send you a questionnaire on weblog. It is for the purpose of my final project. The information will be kept confidential.

I really like this concept. I wonder at some of the logistics (does the food need to be replaced periodically?),but I’d bet this will get some people to check out the product or at least get a good feeling about the brand.

      von k,
i thought of that as well. i guess they would have to change the food every now and than, unless its one of those dry dog foods.

Cute idea. Reminded me of the “bark if you love Bonzo” [dog food] poster that was done a few years back, the small poster (dog sized, like this one) had a dog whistle in it. Any dog passing would bark of course. See that poster here: http://ad-rag.com/116.php

Pretty cool. A few years ago, Animal Planet in the U.K. placed ads at the foot of lampposts that actually gave off some sort of synthetic dog-urine scent. When a pooch came over for a sniff, the owner saw a larger ad above promoting the network.
