Here is a great site that is all about pixel art. Some amazing detailed cities, and if you like them a lot you can even buy some very nice posters. They also feature other things than buildings, such as people, and many other great art.

I just found your site and linked to it!
I think think it’s very comprehensive and well spoken. I’m an Industrial Design undergrad student with a previous degree in Graphic Design at the University of Kansas. I’ve just started blogging about my thesis and a site in the same spirit as yours, DesignSpeak that hopes to document critiques and discussions about industrial design as well as interface, and graphics.
