Branded Body Art
Marketers are always looking for ways to grab attention to their products. I have seen brands painted on people before, but not the whole body. This is an interesting way of promoting a product, but will the viewer remember the brand or just the nice curves of the model?

I was actually lucky enough to see this series exhibited at a gallery in Chicago recently. I’m sure it’s still up, if anyone in CHI is interested (although I can’t remember what gallery it was). I didn’t really get the impression that this was intended to be a serious advertising possibility, but more of a commentary on advertising and consumer culture. Also notable that these models are actually computer generated.

Supposedly, this is a commentary on advertising and consumer culture. Anybody care to comment?
I still have no f-en idea what the supposed “artist”
was trying to say.

Do you have any more info on the exhibit ?
That’s actually pretty interesting that the model were computer generated.
Graphics on people is becoming more and more commen. remember all those people selling their body parts on ebay to put ads on them.
i have seen topless girls in bars with beer logos painted on their chests etc.
the human body is just another medium for ad space. If you have a nice body, people will check you out. Might as well put an ad on it.
