I just picked up the latest Communication Arts Advertising Annual, and decided to post this nice campaign for Jeep. Im sure i’ll scan some more if i can’t find them online.

I agree… but what else can you say about a 4×4? Those are the images that get the people excited about the car, they want to “know that they “could” go anywhere”.
i would love to see a great one with a “new” concept behind it though .
Well, this is the message the Jeep brand has been about ever since WWII. It’s everyone else trying to bandwagon, and in ten years when SUVs are no longer hot, everyone else will have found a new niche and the Jeep brand will still consistently sell this image. I think it would be a mistake for Jeep to change their well-maintained message just because others think it’s cool for a few years.
It is good, but this idea have been used over and over. See Archive number 06, year 2002, page 33. The only new thing in this Jeep campaign is that they had used the side mirror.

it’s good work, but it’s the SAME message over and over again. I’d like to see something different from Jeep and Land Rover for that matter.
Okay, so you’re cool in the jungle.. um, what else?

Didn’t know how to reach you by email. So had to post it here. An intersting ad. Politically incorrect?

it´s a very cheap remake of the Landrover-Experience campaign from 2002.
This just shows me, that Saatchi is on a way down.

i think these are great.
however, i can see how one could get tired of this campaign. soon it’ll be in the same catagory as absolut or mastercard ads.
