Medecins Sans Frontieres
Today is World Aids Day.
This commercial was made by a Belgian advertising agency called Duval Guillaume in Brussels. The ad is for Medecins Sans Frontieres and it’s for sure one of the best pieces of work i have seen this year.

I want to agree, but I just can’t help thinking about Katamari Damacy, which rather spoils the tone for me.

I agree with ajt, it’s an excellent ad, but I can’t help but think of Katamari when I watch it. I think they put the inspiration of Katamari to good use here, but it’s just hard to seperate the relative connection when watching it.
Great for everyone unfamiliar with the game, though!

I don’t know the game so I looked it up and saw screenshots and a trailer. In conclusion: The ad and the game have only one thing in common: SNOWBALL-effect. The rest is completely different, if not juxtaposed. I don’t recall that the snowball-effect is copyrighted?
FBI-special agent Clark: ” Every winter we arrest 5 million kids all over the country. Those little pirates steal the snowball-effect and make tons of snowmen right in front of their homes!”
Katamari-programmer: ” It’s not faiw! We invest so much effowt and expewience in the snowball-effect…how can those little devils do this to us!”
Relax dudes
It doesn’t look nowhere near the Katamari-thing, so get over it and enjoy a well-crafted ad.

concept is great, but message? corrupted governments of african countries defraud billions of dollard of international aid, should the world help aids victims? their respective governments have plenty of money do stop HIV.
