A wanker would be someone that gushes over every stupid ad posted here….

Everyone has their own oppinion, and everyone here has the right to say what they want about the ads posted on this site. If you don’t like the ads and think you have better ones to show, plese feel free to email me and you can become a contributor on this site.
This site is all about advertising and design, the greats and the bads. I know that not all the ads posted here could be labelled “great” but you will never see anything that is just ordinary. Sometimes its more about the idea than the art direction or the copywriting.
Comments are always welcome to anything that is posted here. I actually encourage you to comment. If you like the ad great, if you hate it than thats fine as well. One thing I ask is when you say “this ad sucks” or something like that… give me your reason why. That’s all i want to know.
I’m guessing that these ads are for brand awareness.
The tagline is good “Makes any leg look great”, although I’m not sure I would phrase it that way.
The art director took a literal imagery – having table and chair legs with shoes/boots at the end. The connection is very simple but this not work with the tagline. The making of a inanimate object look good by putting on footwear?
Sorry, but this concept feels like it was devised by first year marketing students. The message does not come across and either clever or memorable.
I don’t think Elvis is God but I do think he’s right. Poor idea, poor art direction for ugly shoes. Not convincing at all.
