I guess Gleneagles is a hotel/golf resort. The huge installation was installed to attract potential golfers. Pretty hard to miss a golf ball this size.
i think it is a military installation - radar? maybe a nuke power station? regardless it isnt part of the golf course. a clever piece of roadside advertising!
its an old early warning radar system in kinross ,scotland. about half an hours drive from gleneagles. it is where T In The Park music festival is currently held. i know that because i live there.!
