Moulded in the distinct shape of Sri Lanka, this Tsunami collection box put to use the age-old Thirsty Crow story. As more and more coins were dropped into the box, more and more water dripped out of the spout on its side.

Wonderful idea, I love the symbolism. Only problem is: how are you going to get bills in there? They’ll get all soggy. Ok, most people don’t donate more than a few cents, but still.
(On a side note, yes I do see the bills in the other container on the left. But still. Nargh. :P)

Jerome i think the idea is not to put bills in it, cause as u said thereis another box for the bills.
But actually i think people will use the one with the coins more…i didnt try it, but i think there is a certain satisfaction that u feel when u put the coin n see the water coming out
