Cool idea, but what happens when the shadow isn’t facing the right direction for the rest of the shadows around it, such as buildings or other poles? Seems like it would kind of spoil the effect. Still, very cool.

This smells like a scam ad, just for the sake of award entry! I can imagine how odd it look when the real shadow of the pole cast on the street with the ’shadow’ of the tree.
