Eh? What is the significance of the putter? In fact why not just have a shot of the pencil? Am I missing something?
Ingenius. An inexpensive way to impact your audience outside of the typical realm of chewing gum advertising.
the golf club is there because it is a golf pencil … find ‘em around on golf coursed to record your birdie, etc on your score card as you go (but no I do not golf)
its not a poster. they hand out the pencils at golf parks for you to keep score. the pencil is ‘pre chewed’ and says chew freedent instead.
The putter is shown to let us know that it is a golf pencil. This type of pencil is used to keep score at a golf course. Therefore, the desired audience has this product on them for a whole round of golf… leading to many Freedent impressions on the mind
I don’t know about you guys…but how often do you EVER chew on a pencil your given in public? How about the next time you go and fill out that lotto 649 slip, you take a chew on the communial pencil and see if Freedent comes to mind.

it’s not a print ad. the ad is only the pencil. the shot with the putter is showing how the guerilla ad would be in real life.
I had trouble linking this image to the punch line too. You can’t afford this with ads. It needs to be more free flowing.
the ad is just the pencil. the photo is to show you what kind of pencil it was used for. it was done as a promotion because freedent sponsored some golf tournaments.
actually given out at those tournaments.

what happened to cranberry -rasberry flavour Freedent it was my favourite ? !!! New ones are NOT as good !!!
