There was a Canadian TV program oriented toward consumers (20 yrs ago?) that did a piece where one of the hosts followed people around a supermarket: when they left their handbags unattended, the host slipped a message inside and then interviewed the person as they left the store (”Did you know we put a message in your purse…”). Good piece: I can’t recall the name of the program (tip of my tongue…) but I still recall the message.

That would be cool if they actually slipped something like that in a bag. But i think that would be considered pick pocketing wouldn’t it?
