Interesting visual for this pepsi ad. I like the art direction, but something feels a little strange in this one. What does a straw really have to do with being skinny? What are your thought on this?

In europe they call it Pepsi Light, while here in north america its diet pepsi.

Yeah, Pepsi Light, like dotone said. It’s makes it seem like you’re drinking nothing at all.

I didn’t notice it was a straw till you pointed it out.
It would look nicer (art direction sense) if they omit those blueish glow on the corners…..it just makes the whole ads so 90s.

That’s a turn off for me. I just keep getting this picture of sucking on her head.
I think it’s a bit of a stretch. She’s thin as a straw because she drinks Pepsi Light? Okay, so you dress the target up as a straw.
I guess I’m having the most trouble with the woman herself—she looks hunched, uncomfortable. It’s not an athletic pose at all. It looks like she was told to position herself so she looked the most straw-like. It might be better if she were a little more human-looking…
On second thought, maybe it’s just a lame idea…
I agree tha it’s a bit of a stretch. The straw itself is a thin object and that’s about it. There’s no need to over analyze it.
Unusual visual that doesnt say much. We can write it off with the millions of other ads out there that will soon be forgotten.

I use straws in my apple-tinis…
It is indicative of The Kundalini Serpent energy power that streams up through the Spine and into the mind, the kundalini is responsible for enlightenment, hence the Light surrounding the model, This is a very cunning and simple way to subliminally depict the Serpent power known as Kundalini. This is Subliminal advertising…….But Pepsi has always been subliminal and spiritual….. There Main LOGO is actually Just the symbol for YIN AND YANG……. WAKE UP AND OPEN YOUR MINDS…………
