World Cup Games
Since the World Cup is going on, companies like to connect with the fans by creating their own advergames. I thought I would create a list with different websites that use soccer to promote products. The penaly shot seems to be the obvious choice here. If you know of any other sites like this, comment and I’ll post them here.

Somewhere in January, Nivea already started with a ‘penalty-game’, way before other companies kicked in.

The National Australia Bank in Australia had a competition to make an ad for the socceroos. It has a really cool flash tool to make the ad out of music, clips and text.

Fedex is just out with a viral campaign around the World Cup. Remember their acclaimed Cavemen advert? Well, they have made a smart choice to follow-up on it. If you go on www.fedexshow.com you will be able to watch, in three different languages, a series of one minute videos featuring humoristic comments made by two 3D animated cavemen. Each film is released the morning after the match. The live comments from the cave are in original language…with subtitles! A nice way to capitalize on their “Fedex Stick” campaign.

Nice collection of yours.
Here is another one for your list: sendaplayer.com
It´s less a game and more a ecard generator called send a player… but you have a lot of possibilities to play around;-)
You’ll get the hang of it.
( There is also a German-only version at sendaplayer.net)
