    Cartoon Network

The Cartoon Network has rebranded itself, and not a bad job at all. I think the new logo works well for them and it’s also good to see new bevel/gradient. What do you guys think?

Nice. It has a fresh touch and you can immediately recognize who it is without guesswork, if you know the old logo.

Yes, it helps that they didn’t change the font. All they did was simplify the concept. Not bad.

Less is more! And still their recognizable brand.

What’s funny is that normally I hate design with the alternating black/white white/black, but I always liked Cartoon Network’s logo. But, I agree that this simplification is smart. Choices like this always strike me as well thought out, clearly they worked with the full logo until they had name recognition and then simplified it. Smart.

not sure… its the same font just smaller, with an acronym on top…. seems like a waste of time.

Realy good. I think logo would be recognizable even without wordmark.

I really like it. It stays with their already established brand identity while simplifying the logo. I love how the CN are set at a playful angle to each other - almost like their bouncing. Nice energy. Great job.

More fun & haphazard, just like a cartoon. Simple, but smart.

I agree - i think it’s smarter and recognizable to the original logo. It’s got familiarity but updated. When you have them side by side as shown above it’s easy (i think anyway) to say the new one is better. We’ll see how in looks in action.

Bummer. I like the old and very recoginizable logo. I feel like the new logo does nothing but simplify while loosing all the character the old logo had. Drop shadow, come on , this looks very ge generic.

I simply hate the new logo. The old logo was wayyyy better. Cartoon Network has changed (in a bad way)

I agree with Tim and Jeremy. The logo change was stupid and unnecessary, and Cartoon Network has gotten pretty lame over the last few years.

The logo change was one of the many crappy changes they’ve made to the channel. They also LIE! Out of Jimmy’s head IS NOT their first live action/cartoon combined show. Space Ghost Coast to Coast was.

Cartoon Network is going through a slow and painful death.

The new sign is great. I also like the new cartoons such as Eliot Kid and George of The Jungle.

The old logo makes more sense tho me lol. Allthogh the new logo can bee seen as two wedges in the end wedgies short.

      I like the old logo!!!

The Old one is the BEST. I still miss it.

The Brand And Image of Cartoon Network in India is going down. The Shows $uck now..

I never expected that Disney replaced the cartoon network as my fav. channel.

      >:P Cartoon Network >:P | ^-^ Disney Channel ^-^

I don’t know why so many people hate the new logo. Personally, I think it’s pretty awesome.

Sure the old one will be missed but this one is just fine.

New logo is alright, but i still miss the old cartoon network logo, seeing that i grew up with cartoon network since i was 6 (16 now). its, haha believe it or not, hard to adjust too. and the shows suck too! only show i really watch now is 6teen! i miss ed edd and eddy. boomerang, all of those good shows! they need to do something on the weekends (every other saturday or something) and have a boomerang special or something. yeah they have a boomerang channel for people who have digital cable, but most people stick to basic due to the economy…

New logo sucks, new shows suck, cartoon network is falling apart. I agree with every1’s opinions who hate it. I grew up w/da old cartoonnetwork logo and shows and the 90s stuff was way better. they showed all classics but also had some really great early-mid 90s cartoons like swat kats, what a cartoon, world premiere toons, super chunk, ect. I’m so sad how this company has just destroyed this classic channel into cheap crappy cartoons, i swear to god if they go to reality and completely drop cartoons i’ll be so mad. i mean i dnt watch cartoons nemore but wouldnt mind the classics

I really miss the old Cartoon Network logo and shows. The new logo looks nice, but not as the old one, and the new shows suck horny bloody dick. I wish I was in 1999 and early 2000’s.
