Periodent
I am not sure if this is real or not, but I do like the idea. The choice of font and production level seems very amateur to me, so this might be spec or student work. What’s up with the old school Coke machine as well?

The glories that are misuse would be staggering.
Not that I advocate anything of the sort.

I’m not sure either. It looks pretty photoshopped and bold compared to the rest. And what’s up with the background on the second panel?
Also, I think if he were to actually open the bottle at that angle, coke would pour all over the place, but I am no crown cap bottle expert.
But all that aside, the idea is nice.

Update:
I seriously doubt this is ever going to exist. Perlodent is a private brand of the german Rossmann drugstore chain. Advertising for such a brand that doesn’t even have its own website is very unlikely in my eyes.
I’m for the student work theory

I’m calling student work, too. Comic Sans? Come on.
I don’t know about elswhere, but you’d have to disclaim the ass off this thing if you were going to do it in the U.S. Americans will put anything in our mouths, and it just isn’t good for us.

cmon - no one is going to comment on the glaring visual innuendo that would set of every women’s rights org around the world? If this is real - let me know when the campaign will run. And thank god I own Pepsi stock.

That’s not an old-school Coke machine. Just old-school Coke. Yeah, the moment I saw this, I thought it was either done for an award show or someone’s book.

Not that this has anything to do with anything–but did you notice the model has one brown eye and one blue one?

Comic sans? That’s Challkboard- Apples’ C.S. bastard stepchild.
What gives it away as a a comp is the fact it hasn’t been defaced with rude grafitti yet.

wouldn’t the soda pour out if you opened it like that?
July 14th, 2006 at 12:14 pm
Zeek—touché. That’s what I get for glancing andd going off half-cocked.
It’s still ugly, though.

Not to mention ironic. Soda erodes your teeth ‘cos of the carbonated water. And then there’s all that sugar too.

Fake.
Look at the first photo. The right edge of the image and that brushed metal strip are not aligned. The idiots who did this forgot to consider keystoning when they took (or more likely stole) the photo. Also, whenever you see isolated pictures like this, with out any environmental shots, its more likely to be faked; they could have easily taken two steps back and shot this with its surrounding environment (at different angles).
I hope CocaCola sues their pathetic a$$es off.

BarbaraFly, sorry but your comment about suing is ridiculous. It’s just the sort of typical american flying off the handle sue-happy thing to do. I don’t see what coke would sue them for in the first place, but I’m not legal expert.
In short, enough with the ridiculous suing for god’s sake.

Yeah dont know why they angled the coke like that, probably just for publicity purposes as not to hide the girl and see the ad.
I like it tho, but funny cause drinking coke doesnt make your teeth strong, on the contrary…
