I really like this commercial for Nike SB, even though i am not the biggest fan of Nike. This spot is very well done and connects perfectly with it’s audience.

I agree a fantastic spot but the ending where he shrugs his shoulders is very cheesy and could of ended alot better than it did. Other than that a very creative spot.
agreed - cool but ending is cheesy. i used to skate and still bmx and mtb, but i have no idea if it truly connects with the audience. will these anti label kids really want nike skate stuff?
to vonk - real skaters are… but therein lies the contradiction with all alternative sportspeople… by being anti label they ditch the big guns only to latch onto small labels which then become mainstream and then ditched… viscious cycle.
At least the smaller labels are in touch with the culture and have helped it to flourish by sponsoring the skaters. Nike just see the market as a money making scheme and nothing else. Companies like Vans are still about making money but they are much more in touch - so for many it better the devil you know.

Chris,
Most of the “skate kids ” aren’t really anti-labelel these days, are they?
The end did ruin it for me. , but I think the production is outshining the idea on this one.

I skate - and this said nothing to me. The trick was a bit standard and the gaps were too long.

Yeah it’s good. Shame it’s a rip off of a street artist.
