Banksy does Paris
Banksy has taken aim at the cult of empty celebrity and its current poster child, Paris Hilton.
The artist has smuggled 500 doctored copies of Paris Hilton’s debut album into music stores throughout the UK, where they have sold without the shops’ knowledge.
In place of Ms Hilton’s bubble-gum pop songs, the CDs feature Banksy’s own rudimentary compositions. On the cover of the doctored CD, Ms Hilton’s dress has been digitally repositioned to reveal her bare breasts; on an inside photo, her head has been replaced with that of her dog.

I heard on the news this morning that one of the guys from Gnarles Barkley was involved in this. I think he helped with the editing of the songs.

“Gnarls Barkley kingpin Danger Mouse has remixed Paris Hilton - without her consent.
The Gorillaz producer worked with graffiti artist and Blur collaborator Banksy to produce a bootleg copy of the hotel heiresses’ debut album ‘Paris’.
Banksy replaced 400 doctored copies of the album in branches of HMV, replacing Hilton’s album with 40 minute of remix credited to ‘DM’, now Danger Mouse’s management has confirmed it was him.
In a statement he said: “It’s hard to improve on perfection, but we had to try.”
Banksy altered the cover of the album, changing some of the song titles to ‘Why Am I Famous’ and ‘What Am I For?’.
He also changed the cover picture of Hilton to show her topless and with a dog’s head.”
