Hehe, nice ones!
But the first guy rather needs to get himself waxed …
OMG, i love these… i actually laughed out loud (LOL) at the first ad with the hairy beast… hahahah so good.
seen it before. expected more from WV… are the crispin kids getting burnt out…?
Is it just me or do people just instantly plaudit Volkswagen ads regardless of how good/bad they are? These two are average at best – nothing special. These have been done before and the concept could be for any one of a plethora of different brands.
Volkswagen still seem to be trading on their D&AD success a few years back with the Polo campaign, and have not matched up to it by a long shot since.
DDB is the agency who do that
It’s from DDB Paris. Made in 2004.
Photographer : Vincent Dixon.
ROTFLMAO
As for the first guy, can anyone say Chewbacca?
I bet these were made by jean-yves lemoigne. Great pictures but the concept is getting weared out. The first ones were really great (remember Cannes two years ago? The plumber who’s fixing the sink while his gay client is lurking at his butt crack. Now that’s dangerous enough. Not this hot coffee and zipper epilator. Still it’s very funny but not as strong as the previous ones. But I’ll bet you double that this will win at least bronze in Cannes.
At Yulia: This isn’t Crispin, Porter+Bogusky!!! It’s DDB Paris. Please check your references before sayin’ false things on the internet. I hope you’ll be more careful in the future Yulia.
Like the zipper one. But as H said the plumber one was more clever. The coffee one if just lame lame lame.
Lola, thank you for the correction I should check my sources you are right. Ok, so it’s the French that are getting burnt out, even Vincent Dixon can’t save this WV campaign. Fine then. Isn’t the internet created for spreading rumors? It’s either rumors or pictures of celebrity boxes-I can’t remember which.
