Good concept, love the style, but even after working for it I still couldn’t stop the Kleenex from abiguously shifting between what it appears to be at first and what I know it should be.
This kind of thing makes you read the photo to find the message. That Kleenex needs to look unmistakably Kleenex-y, or the payoff is lukewarm.
Good call Filippo, and I like the other execution better. It’s easier to understand. I didn’t realize she was making a handkerchief in this one before.
Maybe it’s personal, I feel this is a way better execution. The environment makes it much more personal and funny you don’t need to understand she’s making a hanky to get the message of strength. The other is cold, no joy in the understanding, it’s more just stating message.
