Men in Black
Colby Buzzell, who blogged under a assumed name during his tour in Iraq and more recently wrote My War: Killing Time in Iraq, has just been awarded the Blooker prize for best book that began as a blog. This animation was originally featured on America at a Crossroads and was drawn by Christopher Koelle. Basically he took and excerpt from My War and created drawings, Then the animation was done by a group called The Law of Few.

Yeah, great artwork. I also agree with Mango…feels like US Army put some money in there. Somehow not heroic, but still,…gloryfying.

Well done. I’ve served, they handled the emotional realities of combat in a fair way. We all regret war, but with all due respect, those of us who have tasted it understand a few things that those who just theorize about it cannot.
