This is brilliant work, out of about the past 20 things I have commented on this one peice of work has blown all the rest away. It’s intelligent, its on target. It’s synaptic, and its visual and memorable. I dont know the team who made it but it makes me wanna go and apply to that group today haha. Great work!!!!!

This is great to continue awareness in the beauty industry that everything is manufactured or made to look a certain way, but we must remember that it’s not all reality. Women now are so caught up in beauty and the media that goes into it that they forget how it’s contributing to so many problems in our word. Wonderful that Dove is taking a stand to promote beauty and self-esteem, remembering the young generation who is growing up in this hard environment.

powerful. from beginning to end, and both visually and audibly.

P.S. Freddie, I’ve been meaning to email you for a while but I just haven’t had the time. I hope you are doing well…and congratulations on your site finally receiving the recognition it deserves!

Great work. Imagine how hard it is to follow up Evolution after it took the world by storm and won the top prizes at Cannes. This new ad is a great sequel. As far as the language barrier, I don’t think anybody will have a hard time getting the message here.

To Joseph, it’s creative directed by Nancy Vonk and Janet Kestin at Ogilvy in Toronto.

The budget was close to Evolution. Bit less, until the music rights came into play.

This and the True Colours ad seem to be about invoking some pure innocent state before the ‘beauty industry’ exerts its evil influence.
Their aim? To make women feel guilty and insecure about having been influenced by an industry the entire goal of which is to make women feel guilty and insecure.

How progressive.
