Vonnegut CD
Here is a great example of having fun when it comes to CD design. Rethink created this creative cd case, which transforms into a house. You can than take out the bands characters and actaully play with them. Great way for the consumer to interact with the cd.

This has to be the most creative idea I have seen come out of a record company in sometime. Its like its almost worth buying a cd now or atleast a cd case.
Got any good ideas?

Pop up house of holy? or the new Biohazard album with real hazardous waste?

I wonder if this was promoted in-store, or something that the buyer simply discovered upon buying and opening? Regardless, it’s quite fun! I like that they’ve made the CD into the room’s “rug”.

Benton, you give the record companies too much credit. This is a self published cd by the band with the help of Rethink and a bunch of other companies that pitched in because they believed in the project.
VD only produced 500 copies and regardless of the attention, have not raised the price from the $13.99 they originally planned.
