the jan von holleben stuff is dope! love the dog rider, especially, for some reason.
at any rate, what i think is fresh about this campaign in particular in not just the way it’s shot, but also that it’s “street” wear. in the images, the individuals are on the street and doing “street” sports.
that double meaning is a nice added benefit to a done treatment.
For the record, this campaign was not approved, authorised or commissioned by Fenchurch.
I can speak as International Marketing Manager. Mc Cann Ericsson decided to do this campaign off their own back without prior agreement.
When showed these ads i told them in no uncertain terms that it was not our style, did not suit our brand image and quite simply should not be used anywhere.
McCann Ericsson have deliberately ignored my wishes and misrepresented the Fenchurch brand and used the Fenchurch logo without our approval.

Not really… It’s an idea that’s been used in many places before. Nike did this for their professional skateboarding team for instance.

The second one is stronger, but I’ve seen this executed better before.
Beautiful photography, but the concept falls flat for me, especially since it’s an imitator.

Oh snaps!
Sounds like somebody fell in love with the idea and just HAD to see it produced.
