This is great. Definitely a “why didn’t I think of that” type of marketing idea. I like it a lot.
That may look a bit like racketeering practice.
I would hate similar idea to be exercised for a life or health insurance.

It’s a nice idea, but somehow, i don’t think it’s cost-effective to do this on a large scale.
