I feel that the treatment of the outside of the ad (i.e. the torn out photo treatment resting on parchment) does not hold up to the quality of the digital retouching in the image. Almost an afterthought.
I understand the intention but I don’t like the execution.
First: It’s garbage what is trying to fetch my shoe und Second: I’ve seen better Photoshop excetutions.
Has anyone seen the campaign for Pepsi years ago. Same idea - personification of stuff that wants your product as much as the advertiser thinks you should. In that campaign it was ice cubes and cheesies.

It’s kinda high end for a department store ad. cool. Where would it be featured?

Love the concept - especially the gum one. Looks a little more natural.

The concept leaves me cold. Gum wants shoes? Rainwater wants shoes? These shoes are so popular that even garbage HAS to have a pair? I don’t know…
I have a better idea, Brantano. Email me to talk about my pitch fee. I can get started right away.
These look like spec–anyone know if they are?
