I live in Denver, where this nut is based. I doubt this has anything to do with the X-Files movie. This guy has gone to the trouble of getting 4000 signatures to put a measure on the ballots this fall to create an alien preparedness plan, like we don’t have anything better to do with our money.

He’s been on the local news a bunch lately, so if this does turn out to be a movie promo it will be huge news here…

From what i’ve been reading, the new X-files movie doesn’t actually have any Aliens in it. I believe they went with werewolves or some other kind of monster. Anyway, I would be surprised if this was indeed a X-files PR move.

I think the fact that the story seems to have been broken in the UK’s ‘The Sun’ tabloid newspaper is a huge clue as to it’s legitamcy
