Coffee Company WIFI
They wanted to attract more students. So it installed WiFi in some of its stores near universities. The problem is, lots of students just come into the store for the WiFi but hardly look at the menu. So They and CoffeeCompany decided to move the store’s menu into the WiFi menu of customers’ laptops.

[...] CoffeeCompany is the largest coffee shop chain in Holland (a regular coffee shop, that is). They have had coffee shops near a lot of universities in Holland for a long time, but experienced that many students just came to their shops to use the WiFi connection and not drink coffee. As an attempt to get more student to use the shop’s menus, they made the WiFi network name into items from the menu and make their connection appear as, for instance: “TodaysSpecialEspresse1,60Euro” – that’s simply brilliant and an easier way to persuade and make use of an already implemented structure in their marketing.
