    Kids Day

Everyone in the company came into work to find their computer monitors vandalized with crayon scribbles. To promote “Bring Your Kids To Work Day,” childlike art was hand-drawn on acetate sheets, which were trimmed to fit the screens. Building security secretly unlocked over 500 offices the night before so the acetate sheets could be affixed to everyone’s computer monitor.

Headline and copy text: “Bring your kids to work day.”

cool idea, but probably kind of expensive for an internal promo considering the economic environment

Since when do people in advertising actually have kids?
There’s no time for children in advertising.
Lets face it, most women in advertising are not on the creative side. Very few make it to the very top and they’ll be lucky if they have time reproduce. Advertising still has a long way to go to be kid/family/female friendly. I totally know I’m going to get hate mail for this comment. All I say is… prove me wrong.

If you want kids, stop kidding yourself that what you do is more important. If you don’t want kids, thanks for not having any!

This is cute. Bring your kids to work so they can ruin your monitor for real!

Yulia, the agency I’m at has a mother of two toddlers as the design director. There are guys and girls with kids/expecting all over the place.

what? no! I hate when “professional” and serious business/offices are contaminated with annoying kids (mostly from the Boss, that they think they have the right to bug you)

I’d be more horrified that someone was in my office manhandling my monitor!
