I know it is talking about using improper parts causing it to be that way, but looking at them I don’t immediately get that. I see the logo and the illustration and immediately see Peugeot = Deathtrap! If you are going to make that connection between using generic parts I feel that the copy needs to have more emphasis.
I like them as concepts, but I agree - I’d be surprised if anyone doesn’t immediately think ‘Honda’ when they see these. No one’s going to walk walk away thinking of Peugeot, are they?

Yeah. Looks to me like a rip-off of the Honda Ad a few years ago.

These don’t work for me. Too close to the Honda Cog spot and too convoluted for the message.
