I think the first one IS supposed to be Australia. There’s a kangaroo in the middle of it.

I agree though, as an ad I just don’t get it. It’s not that visually appealing either.

Maybe these work better when seen in print, but just seeing them here it’s a real stretch.

The outlines of each (Australia, mountain, forest) relate to the tiny illustration in the middle (kangaroo, mountain climber, bycyclist?).

Since we can barely see those illustrations, though, they’re super easy to miss. Without them, there’s no payoff. Like I say, maybe better in print?

Looks like someone found the blend tool in illustrator…
