Derek Royer Business Card
Business cards were typeset on cloth and tied in a knot. Clients would loosen the knot to reveal the name and information of the massage therapist.

Nice idea, but what with functionality after five minutes of getting this business card?

That’s awesome…I wonder how many were actually made and who had the patience to tie all of those…lol.

I like the idea of unconventional business cards, especially when the designs are quirky and fun, but realistically carrying this and distributing them could be tricky as they don’t just slide into a wallet.

I agree with Victoria, business cars are a chance to be original. When you go to a trade show everyone is handing out a standard card, this is very innovative way of making potential clients interact with the card, this would be great at a trade show along with a hand massage after taking the time to undo the knot.

This is a really great idea that ties in well with the person’s business– I guess they’re hoping that the creativity of their idea is what will get them to stick in their clients’ minds more so than the business card itself.
