I haven’t understood why the guy needs to be obese. Because it’s titled ‘Gain’? Seems a touch insensitive to me.

I like ‘em. And I think they’re fat because, stereotypically, fat people are thought to be sweatier and therefore have nastier, smellier clothes. Just adds to making the situation for the clothes really bad.
